FARM FOUNDER

Arthur Borghs is living his childhood dream.

He grew up on a farm in Belgium and knew he wanted to be a farmer when he was 6.
He got his first goat when he was 10. The rest is history.

He studied agriculture in Holland and visited Sweden when he was 21 where he met Åsa.
Arthur loves working with goats, as they are so clever and playful.

Arthur is extremely devoted to his animals and he always says that farming is not a job, but a lifestyle!

DAIRY

Åsa Nyberg met Arthur when they were working on an organic cow farm.

She had a background in smallscale organic goat farming in Norway.

She and Arthur fell in love and combined their passion for biodynamic goat farming.
This is how Sörbro was born.

Her and Arthur live on the farm with their 4 children.
Åsa works in the dairy.

GARDEN

Elsa Gelas moved from France to Sweden in 2013.
She first lived in Stockholm but was missing the countryside and her passion for nature.
She studied organic farming at Vårdinge folkhögskola, which is just opposite our farm.
Elsa immediately felt at home at Sörbro so she took on the mission to start a vegetable garden in 2020.

Thanks to Elsa, we are now producing fantastic seasonal vegetables.
